Senate Order on Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entity Contracts Listing

The Australian Government's policy on the internet listing of contracts is an important accountability and transparency mechanism in Australian Government contracting activity.

The Senate Order requires entities to publish a listing twice a year that identifies contracts entered into during the preceding calendar or financial year, valued at or above $100,000 (GST inclusive), along with details relating to each of those contracts.

The Senate Order was amended in 2014 by the Senate Standing Committee on Finance and Public Administration. From 1 July 2015, the reports will be generated by the Department of Finance and published on AusTender.

ONI's Senate Order Report may be found at AusTender and can be accessed by the 'Senate Order' button.
