National Intelligence Community and National Security College Scholarship for Women

Applications for the National Intelligence Community and National Security College Scholarship for Women are now open. The application deadline is midnight Monday 31 January 2022.

The objectives of the scholarship are to foster the talent of Australian women with diverse backgrounds and skillsets who are interested in national security and pursuing a career in the National Intelligence Community (NIC) and to provide an opportunity to standout women who may otherwise be unable to undertake a Master of National Security Policy degree

The Award is available to a prospective ANU student who: 

  • is an Australian citizen; and 
  • has completed a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0 or above; and 
  • identifies as female; and 
  • has received an offer for the Master of National Security Policy degree program; and 
  • at the time of application, is not a member of the Australian Public Service (APS); has not accepted a place in an APS graduate program; and is not employed under any other legislative provision related to employment in the national Intelligence Community (for example the ASIO Act or the Intelligence Services Act); and 
  • at the time of application, is not a member of the Australian Defence Force, Australian Federal Police or State/Territory police force.
